Over 33 years ago, the original dynamic duo, Mike and Lisa opened Cafe Fiore in South Lake Tahoe. They chose the name Fiore after a visit to San Giovanni in Fiore a town and commune in Southern Italy, which inspired their desire to bring rustic Italian elegance to the High Sierra.
